OVERVIEW

The Edifier STAX SPIRIT S5 video was crafted as a high-end 3D product showcase to highlight the headphone’s cutting-edge planar magnetic technology, wireless freedom, and sleek design. The goal was to build a sense of futuristic sophistication while educating the audience on the product’s premium features — all without live-action footage. The video serves as both a brand statement and a product explainer in a visually rich, digitally immersive format.

CHALLENGES & APPROACH

The primary challenge was to replicate photorealistic textures, movements, and lighting that would make the digital model look convincingly tangible. Detailing the inner components like the planar magnetic drivers added complexity, as it required accurate animation and technical realism. Additionally, the storytelling had to remain engaging while relying entirely on CGI, without any human or lifestyle elements.

To address this, ThinkUp Media utilized high-end rendering techniques, dynamic camera paths, and atmospheric lighting to give the product a sense of depth and desirability. Motion graphics were used sparingly to enhance feature communication without overpowering the visual narrative. Every detail — from the earcup texture to the glow of the ambient light — was fine-tuned to mirror the actual product’s feel.
